![]() Can Mads Mikkelsen even do a bad movie? Maybe it was me getting older and wanting more than the general campiness, but most Bond films up to that point seemed more like actions movies centered around a spy, but Casino Royale came off more as a spy movie. Casino Royale was a fantastic film and a desperately needed reboot. He did come off as suave, but also rugged and just seemed far more believable in terms of abilities and durability as one would expect in a highly-trained spy. And as great as it was for its time, GoldenEye's repeat-watchability seems to become less with each passing year.ĭaniel Craig was by far he best Bond. Sean Bean was an amazing villian and you have some serious major malfunctions if Famke Janssen left you feeling disappointed. ![]() GoldenEye's supporting cast was stellar, and it yielded one of the best games of all-time (again, in my opinion). There was little doubt that it was going to be more well-received and a better film than its predecessor, as Dalton and License To Kill were pretty forgettable. Most of what made GoldenEye great really did not have much to do with Brosnan (in my opinion).
